Socratic AI ("we," "our," "us") is operated by Trudge the Road LLC. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

What We Collect

• Your first name (provided during onboarding)
• App usage data (session count, features used)
• Subscription status through RevenueCat

What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or have access to your conversation data, journal entries, or saved insights. All conversations and journal content remain on your device and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

How We Use Your Data

Your conversations are sent directly to the Anthropic Claude API in real-time to generate Socratic responses. These messages are processed in real-time and are not stored by Anthropic beyond the duration of the API request. We do not have access to or retain any conversation content. We do not use your data for training AI models.

Data Storage

All conversation data, journal entries, and saved insights are stored locally on your device only. We do not store this content on our servers and have no ability to view or access it.

Third-Party Services

• Anthropic Claude API — processes conversations to generate questions
• RevenueCat — manages subscription status
• Apple — processes payments for subscriptions

What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell your data to third parties
• We do not use your data for advertising
• We do not share your conversations with anyone

Your Rights

You can delete all your data at any time from the Profile screen in the app. You can also contact us to request data deletion. Upon deletion, all conversations, insights, and personal information are permanently removed.
